The Studio at Hotel Olive - Capitol Hill

I booked this room as it seemed like the perfect size for a solo traveler. I wanted to explore Capitol Hill, the surrounding districts, and UW.Only a short few-minute walk to a number of bus stops you might need to get around the city. Expect a little bit of a hill. There is a walkable convenience store, and QFCs I took the bus to. Light sleepers be warned: This room is above two bar and lounges and it can get a little noisy at night. There is a karaoke bar across the street as well. The washer and dryer are downstairs in the basement and require 2 in change each. I found it easier to bring my own soap and wash by hand.The bed was comfortable and cleanly made with fresh sheets. The bathroom was well-stocked with towels. In the first couple nights I noticed there were some drainage and fly issues with the bathroom and kitchen sinks. I notified the host and they sent maintenance over to fix the drainage. The sink was soon fixed and the flies were gone after.The images retain accuracy to the real room but what's not immediately evident is the heavy coat of white paint on all the walls and cabinetry. A few of the cabinets and doors stick because of it. Also, it will smell like pizza sometimes since there's a pizza shop right on the corner.Overall though, I did enjoy my stay. The area has a lot of character and if you like high energy and things to do, this is the place for you. A nice comfortable room (with a good window A/C unit) to come back to after a long day.

The property was a good fit for one or two people. Clean and very comfy.

Small but comfortable and very clean. Comfortable bed and a well-stocked kitchen with quality appliances. Communication with the hosts was excellent and prompt. Check-in and check-out was easy. We would stay there again!

A lovely apartment in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle. The host was very accessible and kind enough to allow me to drop off my bags before check-in since I arrived early that day. It is a walkable neighborhood, but also close to bus lines, the Linc train, restaurants, groceries, and bars. The apartment is the perfect size for one (I traveled solo) with a working kitchen and all appliances. I would be happy to stay there again during a trip to Seattle.

Great stay! The place was perfect for us and in a cool location! Pleased with the amount of communication and help with check in.
