Comfortable Cozy in Queen Anne

Loved this house! Instructions on how to get to the house, park, and how to get in the house were helpful. The little signs in the house with additional instructions were also great (ie. connecting to wi-fi, using Sonos speakers etc). The living area was great with seating for 4 and a large flat screen TV. There was a small seating area near the front of the house. The dining room had seating for 6. The kitchen was modern and clean, and had all of the amenities you could ask for including some some basic cooking essentials like oil, spices etc. There was also some ground coffee. As for the bedrooms, the downstairs bedroom was in the basement. The bed looked luxurious and cozy. There was a fancy projection TV screen/projector available, which we did not use. It was a perfect space for my broody 15 yo son. Laundry was also in the basement. The first floor bedroom was also large with a queen size bed and was attached to the bathroom that also had a door to the hallway. My two younger sons shared that room and were not keen on the glass paneled pocket doors. So you did not really have privacy in that bathroom. Lastly, the upstairs bedroom with the million dollar view of the city! Room was large, bathroom smaller than other ones, great small verandah for AM coffee and PM cocktails. No central AC in house but two rooms had portable AC units and ceiling fans. Several fans available also. Thank goodness for cooler nights in Seattle. Thank you for a great stay!

Outstanding View and Location

I used to live in Seattle and have lived in some very trendy neighborhoods. Let me tell you, this location is amazing. We would walk to Kerry Park (bucket list for taking pictures in front of the city). You can dash downtown quickly or order to Fremont or Ballard as well. The views from the primary bedroom are better than the pictures. These views made our trip. The house is super clean and the interior updates are appreciated. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 and the beds were comfortable. We loved it here!

My family and I visited Seattle for five nights and this was the perfect location for our stay. The view didn't seem real, especially at night. It felt like the entire wall of the top floor bedroom was a picture. We had incredible weather most of our stay so we could see Mt. Rainier pretty clearly as well as other mountains off in the distance, in addition, of course, to the city. The property itself is great. Three nice bedrooms all on separate floors which allowed for everyone to have privacy, but also gather in the kitchen or living space. It is walking distance to restaurants and stores, and depending on how much you enjoy walking and hills, Seattle Center and the Space Needle. We had a car, midsize, and were able to use the garage, which fit fine in the garage but the alley is tight so getting in and would be a challenge with anything larger than what we rented. There are games available in the living area, bluetooth speakers to stream music, and the TV has all the apps if you want to connect to watch shows or movies. The kitchen is well equipped for just about anything you would need. The home is older and has been nicely updated but still has a lot of little older home charms like pocket doors. The neighborhood is also quiet though the streets are bit tight if you aren't used to city streets. Overall an outstanding property and location, highly recommend, and I would definitely rent again.
