Good property, pleased with our stay, though it may not be for for everyone
Positive: We were very pleased with this rental property and neighborhood. The neighborhood architecture is mixed, with some houses and 2- to 5-story apartment buildings, in a hilly area, close to the bus stop and restaurants. The condo's décor was modern and clean. The entry living room was functional and appropriately designed for the space constraints with a small sofa, comfy with clean through pillows, stands, and the TV and remote functioning and worked well; the kitchen had fine cutlery and plates, mugs, a hot tea kettle (bring your own tea), Nespresso (with some pods), dishwasher, and gas range. The property owners asked that you wash the wooden items and knives, which was understandable, though they did not supply a drying rack; we made do. The refrigerator was clean and new. There was a small 4-person dining table in the kitchen area. The bathrooms were on the 2nd and 3rd floors. They had nice soaps and shampoos, c-tips and Kleenex, and towels. The 3rd floor bathroom had a walk-in shower and two basins. The bedrooms had a neutral design; the beds and pillows were foam, so you'd better like foam. Linen is fine and clean. The third-floor room had a small desk and a monitor. We didn't use the upstairs balcony area because of the rain, the cold, and the soggy cushions. Good interior and exterior lighting, safe, though nighttime is a bit 'salty', especially 2 blocks away near the Safeway and bus stop (homeless, drugs, mental health factors). Overall, a safe neighborhood, a professional, somewhat artistic, youthful vibe. The place suited our needs to attend an event and was fine.
Negative: Parking was very stressful; we could not find a place to park during check-in. It seems they are tearing down homes and building condos with NO parking. When we arrived, it took about 20 minutes to drive around. Glad we had a small car and were comfortable with our parallel parking skills. So, out of concern that we could not find parking, we decided to leave our car and use the bus and Uber to get to locations; we were not planning on doing this because it took us extra time and cost to arrange. Also, the neighborhood is over the flight path of commercial airlines, and we could hear take-offs all night and into the early morning in our bedrooms. So if you are not used to that, bring earplugs or sound-canceling devices if that disturbs you. If you have ADA issues and prefer not to use stairs, please note there are three floors.

Perfect house for a city touring trip
Positive: Excellent stay and a perfect location for exploring the city!
Location-wise 5 min walk to the supermarket and to a street of different restaurants, or 10 min walk to the metro line with the city centre 1 stop away.
Kitchen was well equipped. Beds extremely comfortable. Washer/dryer easy to use.
Fantastic night-time views of the city from the rooftop.

Cute, scenic, and accessible. Would stay again! 🌟
Positive: This place was honestly a great find. It is an excellent location, it is very clean, and had everything we needed. The rooftop was spectacular. We enjoyed eating upstairs there with our children. We had a slight hiccup at the beginning of our stay, because the prior renter did not leave the parking permit behind. The hosts were great and got us a new permit within half an hour. They were very responsive. The house is well maintained and beautiful.
Negative: Despite the central location, parking was such a hassle. They do provide us with a parking permit, however there seems to be more people than there are spots. We often had to park a few blocks away. One night we even had to park in the paid parking garage down the road because there was simply no free parking near us that evening. The location is very Central and public transportation is easy to figure out. However, we were driving out of town a few days because of the nature of our trip. That made it difficult. I would definitely look into public transportation when staying here.

Great Location in Capital Hill
Easy walk to coffee shops and grocery store. The space was perfect for 3 of us - myself, my husband and our adult son. Kitchen was well equipped for helping with the Thanksgiving cooking.
